This design pays homage to Azza Fahmy, a pioneer in contemporary Egyptian jewelry design who challenged the status-quo by being the first woman to train in Egypt’s jewelry quarter, Khan El Khalili. A student of Fahmy, FYR considers her to be an Egyptian icon of feminism as well as a major influence on her style. The Tribute Ring is a symbol of legacy and the gift of knowledge through passing generations.
